And Now For The Vows…

We had been living out of the country for awhile when we decided to get married, and I thought that we were doomed to an impersonal civil ceremony. I very reluctantly started searching the internet for an alternative, and I was pleasantly surprised to find Tyler, a highly educated, well travelled, and seemingly thoughtful soul. As it turns out, he is extremely thoughtful. He delivered a beautiful ceremony, incorporating our words, the words of dear friends, and his own insights, which created moment after moment of meaning, joy, truth, spirituality, and the expression of love. It was the perfect combination for us of traditional ceremonial elements and unique personalization. Even my mother was pleased, and that is not an easy task. On another note, it started raining during our outdoor ceremony, and Tyler was able to adapt to this interesting circumstance with ease and aplomb. Everyone kept saying how the ceremony was so “you guys” (i.e. myself and my husband) and for that, I give all the credit to Tyler. I recommend him one thousand percent!‎   - Stacy

Tyler officiated our ceremony early this year, and we are absolutely thrilled with what he was able to do for us. His content and presentation was perfect, and we received NUMEROUS compliments from guests during the reception about how unique and moving the ceremony was. He did an excellent job of personalizing the content and mood exactly how we wanted it to be – definitely not a cookie-cutter message. My grandmother was in tears afterwards when I gave her a hug. She was telling me how sweet the ceremony was and that my grandfather would be very proud. Tyler’s generosity and joy for marriage is abundant and it shows in speaking with him and during our ceremony of course. Ask Tyler to lead your wedding – you will not regret it. HIGHLY recommended! After our original officiant canceled on us 3 months before the wedding, we were pretty upset. It took us time to find the first one and we did not have a church with a pastor we knew well. Reluctantly, we began to search the internet again for an officiant. I stumbled across Tyler’s website and read excerpts from the weddings he had officiated and we set up a meeting. He was great right from the start…we booked him immediately, and he promised me that he would not cancel (a BIG PLUS at this point!). As the big day approached, honestly, we were expecting just your standard who gives who, who takes who, man and wife that you hear at every wedding…which would have been acceptable. However, Tyler went above and WAY beyond our expectations. He contacted our bridal party and used what they said and what he observed in our meeting to make the ceremony so personal and meaningful to both of us. There was not a dry eye in the house….including the 2 of us! After ‘Congratulations’, the second thing every guest we talked to at the reception said was how impressed they were with our officiant and asked how we knew him. With such a personal and heartfelt message, they could not believe that I just randomly found him on the internet. A month later, people are still talking about what a fabulous officiant we had, how much they actually enjoyed the ceremony (not just the reception) , and that Tyler was one of, if not the best, officiants they had heard. We consider it a blessing that our original officiant canceled and we were able to meet Tyler. Our wedding day would not have been the same without him!! We HIGHLY recommend Tyler!!!
